Smaller Problems

All of us would like to have smaller problems than we have and less of them. Before I was saved I had big problems. I had problems with God. If it weren*t for his love, mercy and forgiveness those problems would have been eternal. My current problems sometimes look bigger than they are. My current problems are with Satan. They are smaller and they are temporary. Sometimes all I can think about are my current problems. It is when they are all I think about that they look bigger than they are.

My biggest problem was that I was spiritually dead, disconnected from God and from spiritual and eternal life. I don*t have that problem now and I will never again have it. I have eternal life and will have it forever.

Matthew 28:18: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

John 5:24: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

Colossians 2:13: And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

In addition to being smaller, my problems with Satan are only temporary. When I get to Heaven, Satan and his problems won*t be there. Only God could solve my problems with Himself and only God could solve my problems with Satan here and now and forever.

James 4:7: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Revelation 20:10: And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Romans 8:31: What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
